WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW.....??????
Have you ever heard someone say that "what you don't know won't hurt you"? Well, I know that I have; and even as a child, I didn't think that made a lot of sense to me. Even in my small way as a child, I could think of scenarios where I could be hurt by things that I didn't know about.
I suppose maybe that God was preparing me for some parts of the Ministry for which I would be called in to. As I look back upon some things now, I can remember events and things that happened that actually was preparing me for a time such as the Ministry that we share today for God.
My Grandpa on my maternal side had been a Pentecost Minister, and my Great Grandpa on my maternal side had been a Baptist Preacher, so I was born into a bloodline of preachers, and little did I know then that I would be affected by it and would have a high calling of God on my life.
As it has turned out, I do have my very own calling, and it works or co-insides with the message that God has equipped my husband with and together, we make one great team.
Fred's (my husband) anointing and passion is the End-Time Message, and the Spirit has pulled me toward the Spiritual Warfare message, which is very much needed in what we call the last days or end times. Each message we preach co-insides with each others, and together, we see a lot of people saved and set free of a lot of "bondage" of the enemy. We have learned a great deal by actually experiencing some things, and by hands-on experience, and through much fasting and prayer.
God always shows up, and the Gifts of the Spirit operate through BOTH of us in a mighty way, and there are signs that follow us.
Now to get on with what I want to talk about today, I want to enlighten some of you about some things that, possibly up until now, you may not have heard about. You see, in Hosea 4:6, God says through His Prophet, Hosea, that ‘My people perish (die) for lack of knowledge'. When I read that, I realize that what I DON'T know CAN actually hurt me.
Many, many times, Pastors, Preachers, Evangelists, Teachers do NOT teach about all that Jesus has done for us for today, in the here and now, and not just for everlasting life through our Salvation by his Saving Grace.
In John 10:10, Scripture says that Jesus "came that we might have life and have it more abundantly". That means for "today"...there are benefits that we received when we accepted Him as our own personal Savior that we are not being taught. That same verse of Scripture also goes on to say that " the ‘thief' (the devil) came to steal, kill, and destroy".
If you will read this and read this until God can reach you down in your spirit man, you will understand that the devil is constantly coming after us to rob us and to destroy all he can, and even to kill us, but Jesus came to give us L I F E and THAT more ABUNDANTLY. We don't have to allow the enemy to take things from us and to interrupt our lives and to steal our joy and peace. (And, I want to say here that the only way that the devil can do these things to us is if we allow him to)
If we are saved and walking with the Lord, and abiding in Him and living as Righteously as we can, the devil may ‘try' to interrupt us and cause problems, but if we hold onto the hand of the Lord, he cannot reach us. I have found out through my walk with the Lord that if I Praise His Name, the devil cannot come in and get between me and God. God inhabits the praises of His people. That means that He is right there with us and is living and dwelling right in the middle of our Praise.
Even when things are going wrong and it doesn't look like you are going to make it, don't give up......keep on Praising the Lord.....Thank Him for the bad as well as the good. Romans 8:28 tells us that "all things work together for good for those who love God, and who are the called according to His purpose". He is God on the mountain and He is God in the valley.....and if we will trust Him in all things, He is faithful to always come through for us.
If He brings us to a thing, He will take us "through" it.
I shared a little of my background with you, above, in order to get you to be able to look back at your life, and to ponder the thought of the expression:
"What you don't know can't hurt you". Now, there are those who are comfortable with that, and some of you will really take hold of this message, and will actually be hungry for more.
You see, we have found throughout our years in Ministry that many, many churches are out there and ONLY teaching and preaching Salvation, That is good, but it is not all that matters. Jesus did SO MUC MORE for all of us when He died on the Cross that day. Yes!! He died for mine and your Salvation, and He suffered horribly; but, if you are not aware that He did oh so much more, then you need to be studying your Bible more. When you study it, you will find for yourself all that He did for you.
If you are not in a church that teaches about ALL that He did for you IN ADDITION to your Salvation, you probably need to find a Pastor somewhere who IS teaching about healing, and deliverance, and miracles.
There are Pastors that DO teach this, and will actually practice laying on of hands for your healing and deliverance so that you can be totally free of all the demonic oppression and bondage that a lot of times, we are found entwined in.
We feel that these are the last days, and Jesus IS coming back soon, and we need to be aware of ALL that He did for us, and how to combat some of the things that come our way. We need to realize that there is a spiritual force that affects each of us ,,,,,, and there are ways in which we can combat this "force", whom we have come to call our enemy. It is imperative for this time to be equipped with the knowledge of how the enemy operates, and then to be able to put on our armor that is needed to defeat the enemies advances.
In Ephesians, Chapter 6, the Bible talks about our "putting on the full armor of God".....a lot of folk have not been taught these things. Some of us know a little about it, but it is important for all of us to be aware of the devil's tactics that he uses against us, and then to be able to combat him with that "full armor of God".
These days are different than any that have ever been before, and there are more ways in which the enemy comes at us during these times. Folks, it is not going to get any easier, as a lot of what is going on in the world now HAS to happen.....it has been prophesied (predicted) in the Bible. I want to admonish you that whenever there is something evil or wicked that comes against us, there is always a way to defeat it. The answer is in the WORD!!
If we are not taught these things, and we do not search them out for ourselves, the battles we face today, and will face tomorrow, will be a lot harder to fight.
We teach about Spiritual Warfare........and NO!! We are not way "out there". We just realize that God is a Spirit, He lives in Heaven, which is in the Spiritual Realm........regardless of what you may think, we DO have an enemy, and he has evil spirits which he uses against us, and they also live in the heavenlies.....also in the Spiritual Realm.
People, just because you cannot ‘see' the wind does not mean that it is not there. Even though you cannot see the wind, it is known to do much damage. It is the same with the spiritual entities and forces which are used against us....just because you cannot see them does NOT mean they are not there. We are constantly being attacked or accused, or interrupted in some way in our daily lives by them......we just are so used to seeing things in the ‘natural‘, that we do not see things in the ‘spiritual'. We MUST learn to see ALL things that happen in the ‘spiritual' before the ‘natural' and to realize what it is that is causing a lot of our problems, etc.
Once we grab ahold of the fact that things are sometimes coming through the spiritual realm, we will be a lot more wise about how to combat them. There is ALWAYS to defeat our foe.......read the Bible,,,ask your Pastor....if he doesn't know or is unwilling to talk to you about it, find a church that has a Pastor that DOES KNOW and will talk to you about it.
I am in hopes that this has reached some of you in a way that has never reached you before. This is exactly what we need to be aware of for this time.
I would like to admonish each of you to read Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39, and to also read Matthew Chapters 24 and 25. This would be a good place to start and to try to line up things that are happening in our world today with what these Scriptures say. Then, go to Ephesians Chapter 6 and read and learn more of what we are up against.
This is probably enough to leave you with for the purpose of this teaching, but as you reference some of the material, I believe you will be more able to understand some of the things that have happened to you before, and to your loved ones in the past (or sometimes, at present). The more knowledge you have the more weapons you will have to fight with. Remember, that what you DON'T KNOW CAN HURT YOU!!!!
May God bless each of you through this message.
